Worcester: David L. Gilmore, 76, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife of 51 years Jeanne M. (Gonyea) Gilmore; 2 sons- Michael Gilmore and his significant other Brenda of Worcester and Christopher Gilmore and his wife Jennifer of Auburn; 4 grandchildren- Alyssa, Kaitlyn, Nathan, and Emma; 3 great grandchildren- Cameron, Charlotte, and Brody; and several nieces and nephews.
David was born in Worcester, son of the late Walter and Doris (Allen) Gilmore. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School and W.I.T.I. He proudly served his country in the US Army Reserves and worked for many years as a bus driver for the Worcester Regional Transit Authority. He enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, vacationing at Old Orchard Beach, bowling, fishing, and doing yard work. He especially liked spending time with his family.
