Kenneth Eugene Mygrant, 73, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Dorminy Medical Center, after a long fought battle with pancreatic cancer.
A memorial service and burial will be held 2:30 PM, Thursday, July 6, 2023, at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, Florida.
Mr. Mygrant was born January 21, 1950, in Cordele, Georgia, to the late Edgar and Veora Warren Mygrant. He was a retired U.S. Navy senior chief petty officer, and owner of CT Sports 21, after retirement from the Navy.
He is survived by 3 children: Shawn Mygrant & Laurie of Jacksonville, Florida, Nichole Lindsey & Tony of Ocilla, and Jennifer Hicks & Darrell of Huntington, West Virginia; seven grandchildren: Tyler Lindsey & Liz, Jordan Eason & Luis, Kaitlyn Lindsey all of Ocilla, Summer Hicks of Huntington, West Virginia, Gabby Sonnier of Jacksonville, Florida, Jazmine Hicks and Alezandra Hicks of Mt. Gilead, North Carolina; three siblings: Ann Almoney of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Linda Parrish of Orange Park, Florida, and Kam Gilmore of Cordele; four nephews: Kent Almoney of Hagerstown, Maryland, Steve Parrish & Kim of Jacksonville Florida, Scott Parrish of Orange Park, Florida, and Jay Gilmore & Jennifer of Cordele. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Diane Mygrant.
