Thomas E. Kane, Jr., 69 of Boston, formerly of Worcester, passed away on Monday, June 26th at home. He leaves his two sisters, Ann Marie Moriarty of Middletown, NJ and Patricia A. Kane of Boston; a niece, Kathleen E. Cortese of Whitehouse Station, NJ; two nephews, Patrick J. Moriarty III, of North Wales, PA, Thomas P. Moriarty of Edgewater, NJ; and a great nephew, Benjamin A. Cortese.
He was born Worcester the son of the late Thomas E. Kane Sr. and Barbara A. (Ford) Kane. Thomas worked as an emergency medical technician for his family’s ambulance company, Kane Ambulance Service, for 25 years.
His funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Christ The King Parish, 1052 Pleasant Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richard’s Avenue, Paxton. A calling hour will be held on Monday, July 3rd from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue.
