His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2023, at New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church in Ashburn with John and Stephanie Roberts giving eulogies. Mr. Williams will be laid to rest at New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Ashburn. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church in Ashburn from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.

Jamie Wilson, Hank Hayes, Kalob Walker, Gregory Walker, Jeff Manning, Randy Gray, Charles Harper and Sydney Harper will serve as pallbearers.

Born January 12, 1985, in Tifton, Mr. Williams was the son of Janice Garner Williams of Tifton and the late Paul Williams. He was an electrician, and he was of the Pentecostal faith.

He was giving and mischievous and you never truly knew what he was getting into. He was protective of the people he loved. He believed in forgiving because he had been forgiven for so much. Everyone has small, random things that he gave or brought because he wanted everyone to have anything he had. He was charismatic, so it was so hard to stay mad at him. He was neat and everything he owned had a place. His car stayed spotless and he took care of the things he had been able to acquire over the years.

He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family, playing cornhole, traveling, listening to music and to be aggravating as possible to his close loved ones. He was good with kids and children had a special place in his heart.

Mr. Williams is survived by four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Johnny and Leila Williams of Poulan, Tyler and Vashti Williams and Dylan Williams, all of Guntersville, Alabama and Jacob Williams of Centre, Alabama; two sisters, Robin Lamb and her husband, Shane of Sylvester and Stephanie Baird and her partner, Raegan Smith of Albany; his nieces and nephews, Kalob Walker, Zane Lamb, Lakin Jackson, Jonathon “Paul” Williams, McKenzie Williams, Phoebe Williams and Paul Williams; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to Modern Pathways to Recovery, 410 Club Drive, Athens, GA 30607.
