Roger is predeceased by his father, Paul Grondin and is survived by his mother Orphise Grondin of Gorham, NH; his beloved wife of 48 years, Debbie (France) Grondin of Londonderry; four children, daughter Michelle Franks and her husband Barry of Derry; son, George Grondin of Londonderry; daughter Joceline Pittman and husband Blake of Greenville, SC, and daughter Marcelle Barker and husband Robbie of Groton, MA; eight grandchildren, Bailey, Samantha, Amelia, Kayla, Charlie, Alexa, Brady and Tristan; one brother, Louis Grondin and wife Carol of Lee, NH, two sisters, Lise Danault and husband Ron of Berlin, NH and Suzanne French and husband Mel of Gorham, NH as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Roger was the owner of Photography by the Grondins, for 35 years where he specialized in school portraits, weddings, as well as sports photography. He was still actively taking pictures and making his special senior banners this past spring. It was a family run business where he enjoyed having his children assist him. He proudly served as Sergeant First Class (E7) in the United States Army. He graduated from La Salette Seminary in 1964 and then went on to attend Laconia Technical College for Printing as well as Assumption College.
More than anything Roger was a devoted family man. He loved his big family get togethers, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, watching movies with popcorn and raisinets, and photographing his family at any opportunity that would arise.
He will be deeply missed but fondly and dearly remembered with love by not only his family but the Londonderry, Milford, Goffstown and Amherst communities.
