HOLYOKE – Cecile G. (Laverdiere) Beauregard, 82, of Holyoke, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, June 22, 2023. She passed into Eternal Life at Pioneer Valley Health and Rehabilitation in South Hadley surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on January 22, 1941, a beloved daughter of the late Armand and Rose (Beauchemin) Laverdiere. She was raised in Holyoke, graduated from Precious Blood High School in Holyoke and was a lifelong resident of Holyoke. She was employed as a Quality Control Inspector at Spectrum Wire in Longmeadow. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in Holyoke. During her leisure time, she enjoyed trying her luck at the local casinos. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and her many friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend, Robert L. Beauregard who was Called Home on March 29, 2016. She leaves her two loving daughters, Michelle L. Sliwa of Chicopee and Lori A. Young and her husband, Paul, of Salem, WI; her seven cherished grandchildren, Shannon N. Cassidy and her husband, Justinn, Stephanie R. Power and her husband, Thomas, Steven R. Sliwa and his wife, Ashley, Hayley D. Sliwa, Jonathan E. Sliwa, Nathan J. Young and Matthew R. Young; her four cherished great grandchildren, Ayden and Summer Cassidy and Evelyn and Charles Power; her dear sister, Deborah Blanchard and her husband, Donald, of Chicopee; her dear brother, Donald Laverdiere and his wife, Patricia, of Chicopee; her dear sister in law, Beverly Laverdiere of Agawam; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her loving son in law, Steven E. Sliwa who was Called Home on December 19, 2020; her dear brother, Roland Laverdiere; and her dear sister, Shirley Laverdiere. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 beginning at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street, Holyoke, MA 01040.
