Quagge of Brockton June 15, 2006 V. Edward “Eddie” Quagge 81 years, beloved husband of Louise (Woodworth) Quagge. Father of Susan Szachowicz and her husband Bill of Brockton, Timothy and his wife Tess of Las Vegas, and Maureen Kearney and her husband Kevin C of CT. Brother of David Quagge of East Sandwich ,Violet Sheedy of New York and the late Julia Imperiali, Eleanor Hooper, Philip Quagge, and Robert Quagliozzi. Grandfather of Kristi and Kylie Kearney and Alexander, Nicole, and Michael Quagge.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 9:30am. Internment in Pine Hill Cemetery W. Bridgewater.

Mr. Quagge died Thursday in the Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. He was born in Malden MA son of the late Anthony and Louise (Isaacs). Eddie has spent most of his life in Brockton graduating from Brockton HS and then on to Boston University where he received a Bachelors and Masters Degree as well as a Masters from Bridgewater State College.
Mr. Quagge was a WWII Army Air Corp Veteran where he was a Ball Turret Gunner flying B17’s in the 414 Bomb Squadron. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal, Three Oak Leaf Clusters and the Good Conduct Medal. He had the honor of flying 50 bombing missions throughout Europe. He was an active member of the 97th Bomb Group Association.
Eddie was a History Teacher for the city of Quincy for almost 40 years retiring 16 years ago. He was a football coach in the city of Quincy and a referee with the Eastern MA Assoc of Football Officials refereeing throughout the South Shore Area. He enjoyed Golf and building model airplanes.
