Obituary

Julia E Grenier age 68 died on May 18 2023 at the Veteran’s Memorial Hospital in West Roxbury MA, after a short illness, her loved ones were by her side for the last several days of her life.

She was born in Salem Massachusetts. Her Parents - Bob and Rita E (Boucher) Grenier. Passed away 50 and 10 years ago respectively.

She’s survived and so Loved by her 7 Siblings:
Bob Grenier-Lawrence MA, Fred Grenier Gloucester MA, David Grenier- North Berwick ME, Rita Corbeil & her husband Gregory Corbeil- West Peabody MA, Richard Grenier and his partner Lori Chisholm of Utah, Debbie Grenier-Florida, Celeste Ross and her husband Mickey Ross-Salem MA.

18 Nieces and Nephews, and numerous Great nieces and nephews-most of whom she’s known, been close to and loved deeply. She’s also been very close to some of her Cousins’ who were like “sisters” to her. She also still had friends from elementary school-and loved them dearly.

In the 70’s, not long after her Father passed away, she decided to join the US Army, and earned the rank of Sergeant, six years later she was honorably discharged.

Her son, Jason as well as her grandson, Evan were so deeply loved and part of her life regularly.

Julia never met a stranger…

She loved her family and friends dearly.

She loved her Friends and Staff at what she referred to as her “Forever Home” the Bedford Green-VA Housing. She had a few favorite hobbies while there one was Gardening in her above ground vegetable garden bed, and Ceramics. We all know that she is also famous for her baking skills as well- as loving to share her baking goods too!

We will be having her Celebration of Life, on Saturday July 22, 2023, at the Forest River Park-Salem, MA which will begin about noon, all who have known & loved Julia are invited to stop by for a spell. There will be RED, WHITE and Blue balloons marking the site.
