Mrs. Linda S. (Jordan) Hazirjian, 68, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023 surrounded by family. She is predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Kenneth Hazirjian, and mother, Betty B. (Bonardi) Jordan. She leaves behind her daughters; Courtney Hazirjian and her husband Jay Soukiassian of Ventura, California, Kara Hazirjian of Miami Beach, Florida, Lauren and her husband Sean Poole of Pepperell and Katelyn Hazirjian of Los Angeles, California; granddaughter, Harper Poole; father, Harold Jordan of Venice, Florida; sisters Karin and her husband Ray Petit of Osprey, Florida, and Barbara Jordan of Ventura, California; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Born in Washington D.C., Linda grew up in Maryland and Massachusetts, graduating from Wellesley High School in 1973 and then going on to receive her B.A. in Psychology from University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1977. Pursuing her love of travel, Linda began her career as a flight attendant with Northwest Airlines (NWA) in the late 70’s. During her time with NWA she flew worldwide, with favorite destinations such as London, Tokyo, and Stockholm. In May 1980, she married Kenneth and moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where they started their family in 1981. Returning to Massachusetts in 1982, Linda and Kenneth settled down in Harvard, where they raised their four daughters, Courtney, Kara, Lauren, and Katelyn. Active and artistic, Linda enjoyed photography, gardening, music, horseback riding, skiing, tennis, dancing, and traveling with her family. A lover of animals, Linda bred two litters of Golden Retrievers and was active in the dog show circuit, winning many obedience and agility awards and competitions. Her experience with the MasterPeace Dog Training community was a joyous time in her life. Her compassion for animals and her family, knew no bounds, touching the lives of many; human and animal alike.
