Jo-Ann (Emmons) Deslauriers, age 68, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 15, 2023. She was born on May 7, 1955 in Holyoke, daughter to the late William and Jean (Rivet) Emmons. Jo-Ann worked at Springdale Machine and Gear Company in Holyoke for many years before she retired. Jo-Ann enjoyed many things, such as gardening, landscaping, and her trips to Disney. Above all else Jo-Ann loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Ronald R. Deslauriers; son, Drew Deslauriers and his wife Christina along with beloved granddaughter Mya; three step children, Mark Deslauriers, Derrick Deslauriers, his wife Michelle as well as Tracy Boisselle, her husband Brian; along with five step grandchildren; five sisters, Kathleen Gallacher, Jane Dennis, Sharen Theroux, Karen Chartier and Lynn Carboneau, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother William Emmons. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee.
