Mary Anna (Angelos) Andolina, 87, of Harwich, MA (formerly of Lexington and Stoughton), passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. She was born on April 23rd, 1936 in Stoughton, MA, to Andrew and Elizabeth Angelos. She was the youngest of their eight children.
Anna met her soul mate and husband of 68 years, Michele, during their freshman year at Northeastern University. Together they raised five children.
Throughout her life, Anna pursued numerous interests. She was a lifelong learner, always engrossed in reading or writing. Her dedication led her to accomplish her goal of obtaining a Master's degree in International Studies from Framingham University. Armed with her knowledge, Anna served as a tutor for English Learners. She had an immense passion for the theater and actively volunteered at various Cape Cod venues to ensure she never missed a performance. She delighted in writing feature articles for local newspapers about the shows she adored. Over the years, Anna worked for several newspapers, utilizing her skills as a writer and editor. Later in her career, she transitioned to become a Real Estate Broker. Anna's love for exploration took her to many places, and she filled three passports with her travels. She took great pride in her Greek heritage and often shared her cherished Greek recipes with her family. Anna also enjoyed swimming and spending beach days with her loved ones.
Devoted to her Christian faith, Anna was a prominent member of Christ Church Episcopal in Harwich. She actively participated in Bible Study groups and volunteered for various church activities. Anna's positive spirit and infectious joy touched the lives of everyone she
encountered. Anna, Mary, Mom, Nana, Sister, Auntie—whatever name you knew her by, she had the remarkable ability to bring a smile to your face with her silliness and love for life.
