Jean F. Lemasa (Lawson) age 85, of Avon, passed away on Sunday morning, June 11, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Lorenzo Lemasa and companion of John Olson for the past twenty-five years.
Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Melva (Willis) Lawson.
She worked as a pharmacy technician at CVS in Braintree for many years before retiring.
Mrs. Lemasa was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family. She was kind, generous, outgoing, and did not have a “mean bone” in her body.
Some of her interests include Bingo, cribbage, whist, being outdoors at the beach, and most of all spending time with her family and people she loved.
Besides her companion John, she leaves her three children, Carlton Lemasa of Avon, Dawn Lemasa of Franklin, and Kimberly Lemasa of Randolph; a sister, Janet (Lawson) LaRue of Milford; grandchildren, Amanda Acorn, Courtney Lemasa Kennedy, Victoria Lemasa, Lorenzo Lemasa, Veronica Lemasa, Vanessa Lemasa, and Eric Spring; great grandchildren, McKenzie Bettuchi, Jackson Kennedy, Shane Bettuchi, Declan Bettuchi, and Hadley Bettuchi; and several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was the sister of the late Joseph M. Lawson, Virginia (Lawson) Child, and John E. Lawson, Sr.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jean’s family on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 10:30 am, in the funeral home followed by interment in Calvary Cemetery.
