Obituary

MEADOWS – Annie Ruth (Harrison), of Randolph.
On June 13th, 2023. Our beloved Annie Ruth Meadows boarded a flight to heaven with her winged soul from this earthly dwelling and entered a place of eternal rest.

Annie moved to Boston Massachusetts in 1962 with her late husband Dan Meadows to pursue a better life. It was here in Boston where she raised her five children; and worked for the Boston Public School System with special needs students whom she came to love. Annie cherished her family and always emphasized the importance of family values. In her earlier years, every Sunday she enjoyed cooking soul warming southern food for her family, friends were al- ways welcome. Some of her most memorable dishes included macaroni and cheese, collard greens, fried chicken, and her famous pound cake. Annie also enjoyed fishing on the cape, especially at Wellesley Water Falls. She also played the guitar, which she learned from her brother. Faith was front and center in Annie's life; she was a devoted Jehovah's Witness and attended Hyde Park Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall for many years. Psalms 92: 14-15 was very dear to her heart, "They shall bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and Flourishing. To declare that the Lord is upright, he is my rock and there is no unrighteousness in him".

Annie was the youngest of nine siblings born to the late Jim and Mary Harrison on December 7th, 1943 in Dothan Alabama where she graduated from Dothan High School. She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Mary (Mather's) Harrison, her brothers James Harrison, MC (Hawk) Harrison, CT Harrison, Wesley Harrison, her sisters Ada Harrison, Daisy Tellis, Betty Law- ton, Dorothy Allen, sister-in-law, and Jeraldine Harrison.

Annie's family is extremely grateful for all the love and support from everyone involved in her care over these past months, and extends warm regards to all. Annie leaves to cherish her memories: Norris Mckinney, her daughters, Barbara Harrison, Kathleen Wigfall and spouse (Albert). Sons, Leslie Meadows and spouse (Wanda), Glenn Meadows and spouse (Sandra). Sisters-in-law: Odell Harrison, Emma Harrison, and Betty Harrison. Grand-children: George Harri- son and spouse (Megan Harrison), Jasmine Meadows, Meshayla Pope, Tiaira Daniels, Ashley Meadows, Jovan Meadows, and Leslie Meadows Jr. Great- Grand-children: Landon Bordenave, Naiya Gooding, Gia Harrison, Chyna Lee, Cayden Lee, Lyric Harrison, and Ghaleel Harrison.
Beloved God-Mother to May McClain and Kathy Clelkly; survived by many nieces and nephews.

A limb has fallen for Our family tree. That says "Grieve not for me. Remember the best times,
The laughter, the song. The good life I lived When I was strong." Scripture "Psalms 92:14-15"
