Charles Raymond "C.J." Barros, 33, of Acushnet died June 7, 2023 at home after a long illness surrounded by his family.
He was the husband of Jaime (Denning) Barros.
Born in New Bedford, son of Debra (Silva) Pacheco and Charles Raymond Parry, and Christopher John Barros, he lived in New Bedford and Dartmouth most of life.
He was employed as a landscaper.
C.J. enjoyed playing football, basketball, dancing, trail walks, fishing, making people laugh, pulling pranks, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife; his parents; 2 sons, Colton Barros and Alexander DeMedeiros; a daughter Brooklyn Pacheco; 2 brothers, Rhys Parry and Benjamin Parry, his sisters Savannah Barros, Stephanie Williams, and Ashley Parry; his mother-in-law Alice Marie Parry; and many aunts and uncles.
His visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 16th from 6 to 8 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
