Devoted father of Garry Hannon and his spouse Aaron Sciandra of Brooklyn, NY; Molly Hannon of Roslindale; Danny Hannon of Roslindale. Loving grandfather of Kaiana Clancy-Hannon and John M. Clancy. Brother of Eddie Hannon of Ontario, Canada and the late Jimmy, Tommy John, Frank, Paddy Joe, Joe, Mary, Egune, Kate Ann, Peter, Madge, Lizzie, Tessie, Bertie, and Rita. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A trained auto body painter, he enjoyed anything sports related or Irish adjacent. Walking was his passion and he loved reading the paper with a cup of Barry's tea and his cat, Dodo, resting near him.
A funeral Mass for Michael will be held on Tuesday, June 20, at 11AM in Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre Street, West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment in St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.
