John J. Kruczek, 70, of Memorial Avenue, Johnston, passed away surrounded by his family on June 8th in Roger Williams Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Kathleen M. (Rocchio) Kruczek. They had been married for 47 years.
Born in Taunton, MA, a son of the late Felix and Lea (Simard) Kruczek. He had lived in Johnston for 41 years previously living in Taunton, MA.
John had been a school teacher with the Town of Berkley, MA school system from 1982-2009 and then having retired in 2009. He had started his teaching career in 1975 to 1982 at the Dorothy Beckwith School in Rehoboth, MA. He had also worked with the Town of Johnston Recreation Department for many years.
John loved all New England sports, Notre Dame football, but most of all he loved his three girls.
Besides his wife he leaves his daughters, Kimberly R. Kruczek and her husband Daniel Mulé of Chicago, IL and Kelly M. Patel and her husband AJ of San Diego, CA. He was the brother of the late Stephen Kruczek.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday June 13th at 6pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Visitation on Tuesday June 13th from 4-6pm.
