Ezekiel Ramirez Nevarez was born October 7, 1929 in Los Angeles, California
and passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on May 26, 2023 at the age of 93. He lived a life full of love, family, and joy.
Ezekiel is survived by his wife Elizabeth de la Rosa Rajcan of 26 years, whom he lovingly referred to as his “darling.” Their marriage was filled with travel, adventures, fun, and the blending of their two families.
Ezekiel is preceded in death by his first wife of 45 years, Reina Victoria Carranza Nevarez (d. 1996) with whom he had four children.
Ezekiel was loved dearly by all his children and step-children. He is survived by his children William Nevarez (Pam Absher), Arlene (Larry) Shipman, Natie (Chris) Rattenborg, Roberta (Rob) Shrader, and his step-children Celia Kruse, Martin Kruse, Andrew Kruse, William Kruse, and Phillip Kruse.
Living a long life of more than nine decades allowed “Grandpa Zeke” to enjoy a life filled with a beautiful legacy of family in his grandchildren and their spouses whom he adored. Zeke is survived by his grandchildren: Laura (Thomas) North, Kimberly (Timothy) Wiltshire, Patrick Hunter, Casey (Shanna) Hunter, Timothy Hunter, Rhianna Beaumont Lamb (Mason Lamb), Kristine Shipman-Smith (Chris Smith), Courtney Shipman, Susannah Nevarez, Daniel Jacob, Lauren Kruse, Madeline Kruse, Delaney Kruse, and Alec Kruse.
Ezekiel is also survived by his great grandchildren: Jerod North, Joselyn North Gomez, Luke Wiltshire, Ashlyn Wiltshire, Micah Wiltshire, Ezekiel Belcher, Jacob Smith, Mason Smith, Elliotte Lamb, Kennedy Hunter, Jackson Hunter, Aaron Hunter, Riley Hunter, Baylee Hunter, Elijah Kruse, and Finnegan Kruse; and is survived by his great great grandchild Sophia Gomez.
Ezekiel was also recently followed in death by his beloved grandson Dylan Beaumont.

Immediately following the memorial service, a light luncheon will be served at Palm Park located at 5703 Palm Ave, Whittier, CA 90601-2650. Family and friends are encouraged to attend to celebrate the life of our beloved Ezekiel.
Family and friends are invited to Graveside Funeral Services to be held with U.S. Marine Military Honors Monday, July 10. 2023 at 12 Noon at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier. Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street, Ventura.
