Doria D. Vieira, of Malden, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, June 6th. She was 59. Born in Saint Michael, Portugal, she was the cherished daughter of the late Jose’ and Laura (Germano) Vieira.
A natural people person, Doria was loved by everyone. She was everyone’s friend. Her sense of humor (made everyone laugh), caring personality, kind disposition and heart full of love made her one of a kind. When Doria walked into a room her presence and smile alone would light it up.
Doria loved the beach. She would spend the whole day soaking up the sun and feeling the sand between her toes. Doria enjoyed taking spontaneous long drives with family and friends all over the place. She always looked forward to the holidays so she could decorate her sister Maria's Christmas tree. Doria’s biggest passion was her family. She loved spending time with her siblings, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
Doria was the dear sister of Maria DaSilva and her husband Francisco, Eduarda DaSilva and her husband Jose', Helia Braz and her husband Felisberto, Paul Vieira and his wife Marie, Cesar Vieira and his fiancé Patricia Noriega. She was the loving aunt of Joe DaSilva, Gina DaSilva and her husband Dino Costa, Monica Davis and her husband Jonathan, Vanessa Prince and her husband Jesse, Stafani Vieira, Ashley Vieira, Sean Braz and Kayla Braz. She was the caring great aunt of Laura Costa, Jordan Davis, Jayden Davis and Logan Prince. She was the proud owner of Faith her beloved fur puppy.
Doria’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, June 13th at 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 AM in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford. Services will conclude with Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours will be held Monday, June 12th, from 4 to 8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
