Delora Jean Ashmore Hall, 91, of Tifton passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Landon Alberson officiating. Mrs. Hall will be laid to rest at Salem Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Salem Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Jay Hall, Craig Grace, Tanner Grace, Josh Pate, Scott Allen, Tucker Hall and Turner Hall will serve as pallbearers.
Born May 2, 1932, in Marion County, Alabama, Mrs. Hall was the daughter of the late John Ashmore and Georgia Ann Ashmore. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Eldon Hall, who passed away in March of 1988; one daughter, Grace Diane Marshall; three brothers; and five sisters. Before retiring, she was a bookkeeper for R. G. Fresh Company in Tifton. She was an avid gardener and loved to travel. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hall is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Stacey Hall of Tifton; one sister, Nelta Clark of Moultrie; three grandchildren and their spouses, Tracie and Craig Grace, Kevin and Heather Parks and Jay and Beverly Hall; and six great-grandchildren, Tanner and Hannah Grace, Rylan Grace, Caleb Parks, Dakota Ellis, Tucker Hall and Turner Hall.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to Salem Memorial Gardens, c/o Peggy Griffin, 1035 Ty Ty-Sparks Road, Tifton, GA 31793.
