On Saturday, May 27th 2023, Emily passed away at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA.
For the last eighteen years Emily was best known at the BJs Wholesale Club in Danvers, MA, where she enjoyed greeting her customers.
She loved all Boston sports, but specially the Red Sox, her trivia skills were unrivaled, and she had a deep appreciation for Hollywood film classics. The greatest loves of her life were her three grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late Mabel Beliveau and Albert Labont’e. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Doran and husband Tom of Salem, her son David Dunham Jr. of Beverly, her three grandchildren, Tom, Patrick, and Emily of Salem, her brother John Labonte of Salem, her sister Laura Labonte of CT, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Joseph, Phillip, Paul, and David Labont’e.
Emily’s wishes were to be cremated, and her burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, it was Emily’s wish that in her memory a donation be made to “Fighting Kids’ Cancer, One Step At A Time,” at the following address:
