Linda Kay (Hopper) Davis, 77, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 26, 2023 while enjoying a cruise.
She was born on December 26, 1945 in Anderson, the daughter of Kenneth Hopper and Betty Shelton Hopper Bryson. She retired from Anderson City Utilities in 2012. Linda was a member of the Anderson Women's Bowling Association, Moose Lodge , Elks Lodge, Women's Democrat Club, was a former Madison County Council Member and member of Roosevelt Kennedy Club.
Linda is survived by her children; Larry (Mary Leonard) Davis, Trinna (Tony) Davis Simmons, Timothy (Linda) Davis, Tracy (Adrienne) Davis; 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild on the way. She is also survived by a brother, Ron (Lorrie) Bryson and sister, Faye (Steve) Randolph, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Lawrence D. Davis, her mother, Betty Bryson, her father, Kenneth Hopper, her dad who raised her, Jack Bryson, four brothers, Jack and Bill Bryson and Kenneth and Robert Ryle, and grandson, Lucas Sanders.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service officiated by Peter Pemberton. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Children of Moose Heart or Lindsey and Jessica Memorial Ride, pledges made to Moose Lodge 150, 225 East Pine Street, Anderson, Indiana 46016
