Judith Ann (Hague) Bedard, 80, of Westport, died peacefully at home on Sunday May 28, 2023. She was born on June 24, 1942 in Fall River, Massachusetts, the eldest of three children born to the late Ernest C. And Irene M. (Tierney) Hague. She was a 1960 graduate of Westport High School, and then obtained her LPN license and later, her RN license, working at Fall River's Cliff Nursing Homes, and then at Taunton State Hospital, where she had retired from after more than 30 yrs. She enjoyed going on walks with her friends and was especially fond of the music of Willie Nelson and Elvis Presley.
Survivors include her children, Gerald E. Bedard and his wife Patti of Dartmouth, Deborah A. Sylvain and her husband John Pacheco of Westport, and Paul R. Bedard Jr. of Florida; five grandchildren, Zachary (Rachel) Sylvain, Jacob Sylvain, and Krista Sylvain, of Westport, and Douglas and Lindsey Bedard of Dartmouth; five great - grandchildren, Leah Sylvain, Zoey Sylvain, and Boston, Lyrehc, and Hudson DeMello, all of Westport; a sister, Kathleen Caroselli of Westport; her cousins, Beverly Carr, Patricia Brown, and Jeanne Ham; and a niece and a nephew, Lisa and Jason Caroselli. She was the sister of the late Jeffrey E. Hague, and sister-in-law of the late Sandra L. Hague.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, June 5, 2023 at the Potter Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Monday from 9-11 A.M., prior to the service.
Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
