Charles R. Cribb, 78, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, May 26, 2023, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Georgia.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at his residence, 120 St. Marys Road, Fitzgerald, Georgia. Friends are invited to drop in from 4 PM until 6 PM to visit with the family and pay respects.
Mr. Cribb was born February 12, 1945, in Rebecca, Georgia, to the late Charles Cribb & Mary Hart Skipper. After graduating high school, he served his country honorably in the United States Navy and the Army National Guard. He retired as a machine operator with Delco Remy/Delphi Automotive Systems with 32 years of service. He was an avid Harley-Davidson motorcycle rider and had earned many high mileage awards. He loved traveling, sailing, SCUBA diving, photography, painting, and making music. He was a family man and would do anything to help others.
He is survived by daughters: Stacy Cribb of Fitzgerald; Sara Lynne Ellis & Brian of Fitzgerald, and Joanie Michelle Rabe of Minneapolis, Minnesota; grandchildren: Tyler Martin Grant, Skyler Dean, Kyra Padgett, Kadyn Chromy, Khloe Parker, Cole Rabe, and Kade Rabe; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Denise Farmer Cribb; and a daughter, Kelly S. Martin.
