Mark A. Conroy, age 66, of Foxborough, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis. He was the beloved husband of Bernadette M. (Mahoney) Conroy, to whom he was wed for forty years.
Born in Norwood, MA on January 29, 1957, he was a loving son of the late Frederick J. and Helen F. (Ahearn) Conroy.
Mark grew up in Norwood and was a 1975 graduate of Norwood High School. He was the founder of Legacy Print & Promotion, Inc. in Foxborough, a company he successfully operated for twenty years and was later joined in the business by his son Mark, Jr.
A resident of Foxborough for the past forty years, Mark was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Foxborough. His family was the essence of his life and was always happiest when spending time and caring for his grandsons and creating lifelong memories on beautiful Cape Cod. Mark loved riding motorcycles, especially when joined by his wife and brother, was an avid golfer, an ardent New England Patriots fan and a season ticket holder for over twenty-five years. Mark was also proud of holding a private pilot’s license.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted children: Mark A. Conroy, Jr. and his wife Hayley of Foxborough, Jillian M. Conroy of New York City, NY and the late Matthew Conroy and Jonathan Conroy. He was the cherished grandfather of Carson Conroy and Keegan Conroy, both of Foxborough. He was the dear brother of Mary O’Reilly of Yarmouth, Paul Conroy of Mansfield, Peter Conroy and his wife Karen of Foxborough and Tricia Conroy of Norwood. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, June 4th from 3:00-6:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 5th at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 58 Carpenter Street, Foxborough. Burial will be private.
