Harold L. Roberts, 75, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM, Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Irwin County, Georgia, with Elder Marvin Paulk officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Union Cemetery, Coffee County, with Elder Ray Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until the service hour at Spring Hill on Tuesday.
Mr. Roberts was born February 26, 1948, in Irwin County, Georgia to the late Raymond & Iantha “Pete” Dean Roberts. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force as a Sergeant, Security Police. After his tour of duty, he spent approximately 40 years in the Agricultural Business as a Sales Representative. After retiring, he was led into the field of Ministry and served Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church for 9 years. His love of God and his family came first in his life.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy Wynn Roberts of Douglas; two children: Tate Roberts and Tara (Clay) Spivey; grandchildren: Hope (P.J.) Lindboe, Faith Roberts, Taylor Spivey, and Cayden Spivey; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Carroll Roberts and a sister, Debra Roberts Newsome.
