Nancy E. (Bicchieri) DeMarco, of Belmont, formerly of Medford, passed away on Thursday, May 25th. She was 57. Born in Boston and raised in Medford, she was the cherished daughter of Donald E. and the late Diane P. (Donovan) Bicchieri.
A natural people person, Nancy was loved by everyone. No matter how long you knew her, or where and when you met, you were instantly connected. Nancy was everyone’s best friend. Her sense of humor, caring personality, kind disposition, heart full of love, and the ability to help anyone in need made her one of a kind. When Nancy walked into a room her presence and smile alone would light it up.
Nancy loved the beach. She would spend the whole day soaking up the sun, sitting in her beach chair and feeling the sand between her toes. Nancy enjoyed taking day trips with family and friends all throughout New England. Nancy’s biggest passion was her family. She loved spending time with husband, children (whom she was extremely proud of), parents, siblings, extended family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
Nancy was the beloved wife of 32 years of Louis “Lou” DeMarco. She was the devoted mother of Louis DeMarco and Lyndsey Rose DeMarco. She was the dear sister of Janice Bicchieri (Robert Polito) and Susan Bicchieri. She was the caring aunt of Joseph and Bella Rosato, and Jenna Kimble and her husband Matt. She was the loving daughter-in-law of the late Louis and Rose DeMarco. Nancy was the dear sister-in-law of Patricia Buonopane and her husband Paul, and Doreen DeMarco.
A funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Monday, June 5th, at 8:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Sunday, June 4th from 4 to 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
