FALL RIVER… Richard P. Jordan, age 83, passed away at home on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
A lifelong resident of the city, Richard was son of the late John P. and Mary (Silvia) Jordan. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Botelho) Jordan of Fall River.
Richard served his nation in the United States Army, where he attained the rank of Corporal. Following his service, he worked for many years for the City of Fall River in the Water Department. Richard loved to watch old movies. He was also known for his interest in pigeons.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: daughters, Paula Cordeiro of Fall River, MA, Kimberly Friedman of Fernandina Beach, FL, and Stacieann Combs Ramos of Fall River, MA; grandchildren, Seth, Sydney, Kendra, Daniel, and Hannah. He was predeceased by his son, the late Erick Jordan and siblings, the late David, John, Dorothy, Steven Jordan and Lenora Carvalho. He leaves behind a sister Shirley Botelho and several nieces and nephews
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 10 AM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA 02723 followed by burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Fall River, MA. Call hours will be held in the funeral home Monday, May 29, 2023 from 5-8 PM.
