ALFRED- Conrad Emard Jr., age 80, passed away on May 19, 2023. His wife Sandra Emard passed away on Jan. 4, 2023 at the age of 78.
He was born in Sanford on Dec. 7, 1942, and attended St. Ignatius School. Sandra was born in Cambridge, MA on July 30, 1944 and moved to Maine and went to Sanford schools where she met Conrad.
He spent over 60 years with his beloved wife Sandra.
Conrad was a jack of all trades who enjoyed building, hunting, and fishing and was a longtime member of the Sanford Social Club.
Sandra enjoyed her family to the fullest. She was always there for family and friends through difficult times. She enjoyed doing elder care until she passed away
They were predeceased their oldest son- Scott; and granddaughter, Tina.
He is survived by his sons- Michael, Shawn, and Jamie; grandchildren- Jake, Josh, Matt, Kelsey, Ethan, Brady, Brody, Braden, and Brentley; and great grandchildren- Theo, Gwen, Owen and Lucas.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on May 31, at 12 PM at the Sanford Social Club.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family at 252 Gebung Road, Alfred, Maine 04002.
