Mrs. Roseleen M. Dello Russo, of Medford passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington following a short period of declining health. She was 85. "Toddy", as she was affectionately known to her family and friends, was the beloved wife for 64 years of Anthony M. Dello Russo. Born in Boston she was one of six children of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Doherty) McColgan.
Toddy was raised and educated in the Savin Hill section of Dorchester. Once married she and her husband Anthony settled in Medford where they began their family together and have remained residents ever since. Toddy worked for well over twenty years at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, first as an overnight Telephone Operator, then as an Operating Room Secretary, and retiring as a Manager of Medical Records.
Toddy took great joy and comfort in her strong Catholic faith and was an active parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Medford. She volunteered for many years serving as an officer of the Mother's Club and also volunteered her time and skills managing medical records at the Little Sisters of the Poor Jeanne Jugan Residence in Somerville.
However, Toddy's main focus in life was her family and nothing brought her more joy than to be surrounded by her loving family and dear lifelong friends.
Toddy was the devoted mother of Mary Jo Petrone and her husband Richard, Michael Dello Russo and his wife Delma, Christopher Dello Russo, Kathleen Hunt and her husband Kevin, Dominic Dello Russo and his fiancé Kim Kuhl, Amy Cline and her husband Shawn, the late Diane T. Geehan and her surviving husband Brian, and the late Anthony J. Dello Russo. She is also survived by 19 loving grandchildren and 8 loving great grandchildren. Cherished sister of Mary O'Toole, Anne

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31st, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
