STATHAKES Anita E. (Ciarlone) A Sister in the Dominican Order known by the name Sister Agnese, T.O.P. Lifelong resident of Roslindale passed away May 21, 2023. Daughter of the late Gaetano and Emilia (Mancini) Ciarlone. Wife of the late George Stathakes. Sister of the late Herman Ciarlone, Alma DeBaggis, Reynold Ciarlone, and Robert Ciarlone. Aunt of Elaine DeGrandis, Roberta Trahan, Vincent DeBaggis, Lisa Oxford, and the late Agostino “Tino” DeBaggis and Emily Millar. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews and her special friends Cheryl DeBaggis and Dan Anselmo.
Former Treasurer of the New England School of Art and Design, Boston. Anita was a graduate of Roslindale High School and a member of their National Honor Society.
Her family would like to thank the Good Shephard Hospice for their care over the last couple of years and the Sunlight Care Team for their kind, compassionate and excellent care this last month.
Visitation will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Thursday, June 1st from 9:00-9:45am, followed by a Traditional Funeral Mass at Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church, 270 Elliot St. Newton at 10:30am.
