Adele (Martella) Cenci, of Medford, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 20th. She was 98. Born and raised in Castel Del Giudice, Italy, Adele immigrated to America in 1958. She worked as a seamstress and was devoted to her Catholic faith which sustained her through her long life.
The beloved wife of the late Ercole Cenci, Adele was the devoted mother of Mary Riley and her husband Bill of Billerica, the late Nella Robinson and her surviving husband Reginald of Medford. Adele was the cherished grandmother of Bill Riley Jr. and his wife Judi of Melrose, Michael Riley and his wife Kristen of Billerica, Reginald Robinson and his partner Kelly Gavigan and Mark Robinson of Medford. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Ashley, Mikayla, Michael Jr., Victoria, Samantha, Reggie Jr., Brandon, Julia and Tea.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St, Medford, Thursday, May 25th from 9 – 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville at 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
