JoAnn (Taschereau) Bulen 68, of Franklin, passed away peacefully, Thursday May 18, 2023 at Milford Regional Medical Center, following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of Mark P. Bulen, with whom she shared 17 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughter Sarah A. Larsen and her husband Timothy Davis of Uxbridge.
Born June 5, 1954 in Milford a daughter of Ann V. (Rofino) Taschereau of Franklin and the late Lionel M. “Leo” Taschereau, she was a lifelong resident of Franklin.
She was raised and educated in Franklin, was a graduate of Franklin High School Class of 1972 and a graduate of the Northeast Broadcasting School in 1974.
JoAnn was the former owner of the Lil General Convenience Store in Franklin.
She was a volunteer for Ruff Tales Rescue from 2017 to present and helped save and rehome so many dogs.
She was a loving daughter, mother and wife. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her fur babies and playing trivia games.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Wednesday May 24th, at 9AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Square Franklin at 10AM. To view the Mass stmarysfranklin.org
Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
