Dorothea F. Anderson, 90, of Goffstown, NH, died Thursday May 18, 2023 in Bel Air Nursing Home in Goffstown surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 19, 1932 in Weymouth, MA, a daughter of the late Leon and Mildred (Sears) Edwards. She had been a resident of Goffstown for the past four years, formerly living in Sandown, NH and Derry, NH. Dorothea had been employed as a cook for Goffstown High School for several years.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Hall of Bradford, NH, and Beverly Krassowski of Manchester, NH; her son, Donald Anderson of Raymond, NH; three grandchildren, Sheldon, Jeff and Heather; six great grandchildren; and her sister, Claire Caliri of Dunedin, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Ernest "Ernie" Anderson in 2010.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 23rd from 9 - 11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Committal services will follow in Great Hill Cemetery, Rt. 121A, Chester, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA or the charity of one’s choice.
