Patty passed away unexpectedly at home in April 2023.
She was born in Boston, MA and attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and Plymouth Carver High School. She was predeceased by her parents Eugene and Grace McCarthy and her sister Barbara Ryan and nephew Billy. Patty is survived by her beloved son Ryan, his wife Robin and the grandchildren; loving brother Joe and his wife Veronica; cherished nephew Joe Jr. and his wife Kelly, and their children Ted and Tris; beloved nephew Michael and his Ainsley; numerous cousins and other relatives; and her treasured and faithful friend Audrey.
Patty owned a bath shop in South Boston for many years, and worked as a bar manager at Plymouth Country Club and Waverly Oaks County Club.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 on Monday May 22 at St. Brigid Church at 845 East Broadway in South Boston. Following the Mass, family and friends are invited to attend a luncheon at Amrhein's Restaurant at 80 West Broadway, South Boston.
