Joseph A. "Joe" Kacvinsky, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was 47 years of age.
Joe was born in Boston on June 6, 1975, a son of the late John A. "Jack" Kacvinsky and Rita G. (Scales) Kacvinsky. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School System and graduated from Charlestown High School. Joe worked as a Salesman for a local roofing company for several years. He was very passionate about playing his guitar and listening to music, especially his two favorite bands Pearl Jam and The Doors. His other hobbies included baseball and playing monopoly. Joe will forever be remembered for his infectious laugh and loved his children immensely.
Joe is the loving father of Madison J. Matarazzo-Kacvinsky and Joesph A. Kacvinsky Jr. He is the beloved brother of Kathleen Kacvinsky and Jack Kacvinsky and his wife Maureen. He is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joe's visiting hours on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. concluding with his Funeral Service at 6:30 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial will be private.
