Kenneth A. “Kenny” Michon of Chicopee, age 62, passed away on May 15, 2023 at Heritage Hall North, Agawam. He was born on Nov. 9, 1960 in Springfield, MA, son of the late John J. Michon Sr and Lottie M. (Lukasik) Michon. Kenny was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School, Class of 1979. He later worked as a machinist for US Tsubaki in Holyoke for many years before he retired. He is survived by his brother John J. Michon Jr and his wife Priscilla of Chicopee; 3 sisters, Kathleen Dygon and her husband Robert of Chicopee, Marcia Ryan and her husband James of Chicopee, Christine Champagne and her partner Eric Goodman of Chicopee along with 4 nieces and nephews and 12 grandnieces and grandnephews along with many other extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his nephew Alan and his beloved dog Harley. Calling hours are morning of the funeral Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. An in house prayer service will be held at 11:00 AM followed by burial in St Stanislaus Cemetery.
