Mary Elena (Roth) Siegel, 73, of Millis, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at her home. Beloved wife of the late Alan M. Siegel, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage. Loving sister to Edwin Roth and the late Dorothy, Betty Roth, Kathryn Regan and the late John (Jack), Jeanne Doherty and the late Jack.
Born in Boston on December 20, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Edwin F. and Elizabeth (Blagdon) Roth. Mary grew up in the Mission Hill section of Boston and graduated from Mission High School. After graduation Mary traveled the world leading tours for Rogle and Associates, where she met Alan.
Mary worked as a program manager for Babson College executive education for sixteen fulfilling years, retiring in 2020. In retirement, Mary enjoyed baking, and was excellent at it, but there was nothing Mary enjoyed more than spending fun-filled moments with her extended family. She was always present for her grandchildren and often seen on the field or in the audience watching them do what they love: football, cheerleading, and theater.
Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Rachel Brynczka and her husband Christopher of Millis, and Allyson Siegel of Bellingham. She is also survived by her three beautiful grandchildren: Elena, Kevin and Madison Brynczka. Mary will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, May 20 from 9:00 – 10:30 AM at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com). Mary’s funeral Mass will follow immediately at Saint Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 11 AM; burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
