WINSTON, Robert A. Retired Dedham Police Officer, of Dedham, May 17, 2023. Beloved son of the late Charles and Claire (Mitchell) Winston. Devoted brother of Susan Winston of Sarasota, FL, Paul Winston of Anchorage, AK, Stephen Winston of Walpole, Joseph Winston of Walpole, Charles Winston of Walpole, Sheila DePippo of Onset, David Winston of Readville, and the late Jack Winston.
Robert was a Vietnam Veteran, U.S. Navy and a member of the Dedham American Legion Post 18.
Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home on Monday, May 22 from 4:00-7:00pm. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, May 23 at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10:30am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:15pm.
