Ritarose Anne Kemp, 34, of Derry, NH, was taken to her eternal reward on Friday, June 9, 2006 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on September 5, 1971 in Somerville, MA, a daughter of John and Anna (Tassinari) Kemp. She was a resident of Derry for the past eight years, formerly living in Somerville, MA. Ritarose was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry. She was also employed as a pre-school teacher in the greater Derry area for several years.
In addition to her parents of Somerville, MA, she leaves behind her 12 year old son, Michael Kemp of Derry (in critical condition due to the accident), her fiancé, Richard Bouchard of Derry, three sisters, Jean Marie Iannelli of Pembroke, NH, Diane Quinn and her husband Jim, of Somerville, Sandra Kemp, of Somerville, two brothers, Michael Kemp and his wife Debbie of Rowley, MA, Kevin Kemp of Colchester, VT, and seven nieces and four nephews.
The family expresses sincere gratitude to the family members, friends and all those who supported and sustained them throughout this time of need. A special thanks is extended to Fr. Roger Hall and the Knights of Columbus Council #3023, along with the doctors and staff at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for their expertise and conscientious care.
Calling hours were held at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 from 6 – 9pm. A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated on Thursday at 10:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 27 Crystal Ave., Derry. The burial followed in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden, MA.
