Cidalia Raposo, 80, of Middleboro died Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Morton Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, daughter of the late Edemundo and Maria (Botelho) Raposo, she lived in Middleboro for many years.
Cidalia was a kind hearted soul who brought love and laughter to the lives of all who knew her. She spent her days surrounded by her housemates whom she adored, and who equally adored her. She was beloved by her caregivers who were like her extended family. Cidalia also had a spicy side, dancing with her caregivers in her home. She was a lover of animals, fidgets, and Hallmark movies. Cidalia will be sadly missed. We will cherish our memories of our sweet Cidalia, our "Mama Querida."
She is survived by two sisters, Maria Donaria Raposo and Zelia Raposo.
Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 12 Noon in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
