Robert N. Lammi, age 78, of Norton, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of the late Judith E. (Topping) Lammi, to whom he was wed for fifty-three years and who passed away on August 7, 2022.
Born in Sewickley, PA on January 21, 1944, he was a loving son of the late Heimo and Leah (Heikkinen) Lammi.
Bob grew up in Walpole and was a graduate of Walpole High School. From 1964-1966, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. Prior to retiring, he had been employed as a plastics engineer at Titleist.
Bob had made his home in Norton for over fifty years and especially loved spending time with family, camping and listening to music with his neighbors.
He is survived by his devoted children: Wendy Gibbons and her husband James of Mendon, Karl Lammi and his companion Amy Harris of Franklin and Katharine Ramos and her husband Daniel of Attleboro. He was the cherished and adoring grandfather of Kara Gibbons, James Gibbons, Jr., Leia Ramos and the great grandfather of Irie Gibbons. He was the dear brother of William Lammi and his wife Nicolette of Foxborough.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of his life on Saturday, May 20th from 12:00-5:00 P.M. at the Norton VFW Post, 38 Summer Street, in Norton.
