Nathan Scott Bairstow
Honor Roll Student at Hollis Brookline High School
BROOKLINE, NH; Nathan Scott Bairstow, age 16, a lifelong Brookline, NH resident, passed away suddenly from an undiagnosed medical condition on Saturday, May 6, 2023.
Born in Nashua, NH on January 26, 2007, he was the beloved son of Scott W. Bairstow and Jennifer M. (Roy) Bairstow and was the best big brother and protector of his little sister, Abby M. Bairstow.
Nate attended local Brookline, NH schools and was currently a sophomore at Hollis Brookline High School, where he was an accomplished student, a member of the honor roll, was loved and will be greatly missed by his teachers and fellow students.
He enjoyed numerous activities including participating in youth sports, playing video games, researching military history, target shooting, freshwater fishing with his grandfather, enjoying family vacations on Sebago Lake, riding his dirt bike and quad, jet skiing, as well as boating. He aspired to be a NH Fish and Game Conservation Officer.
In addition to his parents and sister, Nate is survived by his paternal grandparents, Larry and Suzanne Bairstow, of Tewksbury: his maternal grandparents, Paul and Donna Roy, of Tewksbury: his uncle and aunt, Todd and Susan Bairstow, of Natick, MA. He is also survived by his beloved pets: Kiki, Minnie, Luna and many extended family members and friends.
Calling hours are Tuesday, May 16th, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 17th, at 11:30 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Those attending are asked to meet at church. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 90 River Rd., Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Kitty Angels, Inc., P.O.
