David Jason Stewart
June 9, 1972- May 11, 2023
David Jason Stewart, 50, of Indianapolis passed away on May 11, 2023 at home following a brave battle with cancer.
He was born on June 9, 1972 in Jasper, Indiana to David Jerry and Sandra (Beaty) Stewart. Jason graduated from Spring Valley High School in the class of 1990. He was currently a construction inspector at Kramer Companies in Brownsburg, IN and had formerly worked with Ring Construction in Pendleton, IN and Lindsey’s Lumber and Construction Company in French Lick, IN.
Jason was a member of Red Quarry Christian Church in French Lick, IN. Jason loved fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. He especially enjoyed riding his motorcycle in the Smokey Mountains.
He is survived by his parents, David Jerry and Sandra Stewart of French Lick, IN; his sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Bill Pierce of Fishers, IN; his girlfriend, Erin Young of Indianapolis, IN; a nephew, Matthew (Sarah) Pierce of DeBary, Florida; a niece, Mackenzie Pierce of Fishers, IN; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30pm on Saturday, May 20, 2023 in Red Quarry Christian Church, 10908 County Road 25N, French Lick, IN 47432 with Joe Crow officiating.
Visitation will be held from 3:00pm to 3:30pm at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given to Ducks Unlimited.
His funeral arrangements were handled by Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson, IN.
