John Andrew Delano Cameron, 59, of Worcester, died on Wednesday, May 3rd at home. He leaves his seven children, Gina Remillard, Chad Remillard-Sims, Craig Cameron-Remillard, Terrence Cameron-Remillard, Andrew Grandmaison, and Prince-Xzion Martinez Carlos, all of Worcester, and Brittany Remillard of Leominster; five grandchildren; five sisters, Carmen Boothe of St. Lucia, FL, Angela Cameron of Fort Worth, TX, Althea Cameron of Worcester, Chloe Cameron of Worcester, and Pearletta Cameron of England; his brother-in-law, Brams Young of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Oswald J. Cameron; his mother, Christine (Daley) Cameron; a grandson, Chase Grandmaison; a sister, Shannon Young; and a brother-in-law, Cornel Boothe.
He was born the son of the late Oswald J. and Christine (Daley) Cameron in Clarendon, Jamaica. John graduated from Doherty High School and continued his education by attending trade school. Being naturally talented in many skills and hobbies, John had worked in several positions through the years. His latest career was owning and operating a Landscaping company. He was known for being a phenomenal cook, avid fisherman, and a fun spirit. He loved dancing, his Firebird, and hiking. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 13th beginning at 9:30 a.m. at O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street. There are no calling hours. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family with services.
