Claire R. Eastwood, 56, of Salem, NH died Saturday, June 10, 2006 at the Lahey Clinic, Burlington, MA. Mrs. Eastwood was born in Cambridge, MA on August 2, 1949, a daughter of the late Robert and Georgianna (Fecas) Marchessault. Formerly a resident of Tyngsboro, MA for 36 years, she had moved to Salem a year ago. Mrs. Eastwood was currently employed as a nurse educator at the Lahey Clinic, Burlington where she had worked for the past 20 years. She had previously worked for the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH with their in-home care program.
Mrs. Eastwood is survived by her husband of 38 years, Deane Eastwood of Salem; her son, Deane Eastwood of Melrose, MA; her daughter, Christina R. Richert of Dudley, MA; her three grandchildren: Alexander Ryan Eastwood, Virginia Rose Richert, and Leland Allen Richert; her sister, Constance Pespisa of Bedford, MA; and her brother Robert Marchessault of Sterling, VA.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH on Saturday, June 24th at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Bldg., 360 State Rt. 101, Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
