HAMROCK, Ann-Marie Bermingham of West Roxbury, formerly of Natick, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loving family and friends on May 5, 2023 after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. Born in Natick on April 12, 1960, to the late Felicita (nee Brovelli) and Francis Bermingham.
Beloved wife of Dr. Michael G. Hamrock; cherished sister of her twin, Marisa Zulch, Francis Bermingham, and the late Diane (Bermingham) Shea. Survived by countless in-laws and 25 nieces and nephews.
Ann-Marie was a graduate of Saint Patrick's School of Natick and Marian High School in Framingham. She earned her nursing degree at Elms College in Chicopee, Class of 1984, and recently pursued a Master's in Nursing Education at Emmanuel College in Boston.
Ann-Marie was a dedicated nurse at Faulkner Hospital for 40 years, earning the prestigious DAISY Award for her exceptional care and commitment.
A woman of deep faith, she was a devoted parishioner and Eucharistic Minister at both Holy Name in West Roxbury and Holy Redeemer in Chatham and taught religious education at Holy Name. She was instrumental in fostering strong relationships within her biological and marital family, as well as with friends, creating a close-knit circle of love and support. She loved spending time in Chatham on Cape Cod, where she created cherished memories with her extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Saturday, May 13th at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Name Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Ann-Marie's kindness, dedication, infectious smile, and unwavering faith will be remembered by all who knew her.
