SWANSEA…Raymond L. Cripps, 62, of Swansea passed away May 4, 223 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the husband of Denise (Murray) Cripps to whom he had been married for 13 years.
Born in Brockton, he was a son of the late Edward and Rebecca (Howe) Cripps.
Raymond served for 4 years in the United States Army, included a short tour in Germany. He worked for 25 years as a diesel mechanic for Brockton Area Transit before retiring in 2022. He was an avid fisherman and quahogger who loved riding his Harley and spending time with his family and friends. He was well known for his hard work ethic and hospitable nature with everyone he met.
Along with his wife, survivors include his daughter, Renae Goodgame and her husband Patrick of Japan; his stepsons: Anthony Cucinota and his wife Staci of Tiverton and Michael Ribeiro and his wife Tara of Taunton; his sister, Darcy Amin and her companion Steven Albernaz of Middleboro; his brothers: Edward Cripps and his wife Gail of Port St. Lucie, FL and Terence Cripps and his wife Kaisa of Fairhaven; his beloved granddaughter Evelyn and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
