Gregory F. "Aki" Tsoutsis, 76, of Worcester, died Wednesday, May 3rd in UMass-Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alexandra (Chanis) Tsoutsis; his son, Fotios G. Tsoutsis of West Boylston; two grandchildren, Darian and Mina Tsoutsis and many aunts, uncles nephews, nieces and cousins both here and in Greece. He was predeceased by his brother George Tsoutsis in 2018.
He was born in Ioannina, Greece, the son of Fotios and Chrysanthe (Kamtsikas) Tsoutsis; and had served in the Greek military. Aki had worked as a dental technician for over 60 years operating T & R Dental Lab and in 1996 he opened Dentures Plus Dental Lab with his son, Fotios, retiring four years ago and the lab is currently operated by his son. He was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, the Order of A.H.E.P.A. as well as the Eperotic Society of Worcester. Gregory enjoyed watching Greek Soccer, the Patriots and the Celtics. He was an avid history buff and never hesitated to share his vast knowledge with others. Aki will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his ability to make others laugh and his ever present smile. His greatest joy was time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

His funeral is Monday, May 8th with his funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. A visitation will be held the morning of the funeral from 9:30 until the time of the service in the Cathedral. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family with arrangements.
