WORCESTER____Scott B. Jackson, 59, of Worcester passed away at home Friday, April 28th, 2023. He leaves his wife of 37 years Denise Jackson; his son, Scott Jackson Jr. and spouse Jenna Brown of Worcester; his daughter, Amanda Jackson and husband Kevin Sivanthong of Worcester; his grandchildren Love Sivanthong, Scott Jackson III, and Mariah Jackson all of Worcester; his sisters, Sherry Jackson, Robin Jackson, and Crystal Jackson all of Worcester; his brothers, Brian Jackson and Harvey Jackson of Worcester, Thomas Jackson and wife Georgia of Lowell, and Shane Jackson of Maine.
Scott was predeceased by his parents, father, Stansfield Jackson and mother, Dorothea Jackson; and 4 of his brothers, Timothy Jackson, Michael Jackson, Jay Jackson, Michael Lalmond, a sister, Inga Jackson and nephew, Christopher Jackson. He was born in Providence, RI on November 5th, 1963. Scott was an amazing person to be around, he loved riding his motorcycle, helping others and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Scott spent a lot of time with his 2 dogs Rocko and Ruby. Being the second youngest of 13 children Scott has many nieces and nephews that he leaves behind.
Scott fought his battle against cancer for 12 long months. Despite his circumstances he never lost his sense of humor and faith. Throughout his entire journey, he cracked jokes with his children, made silly faces with his grandchildren, and even reunited with childhood friends. He had a great ability to make others smile and his presence will be missed.
The funeral will be on Friday May 5, 2023 from DIRSA – MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. John’s Church, 40 Temple Street. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M.
