Mr. Leonard B. "Lenny" Foote, a resident of Haverhill, formerly of North Andover and beloved husband of Linda L. (Nicholson) Foote, passed away at his home on Saturday afternoon, April 29, 2023, after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was 62 years old.
Born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, on May 10, 1960, he was the beloved son of the late Leonard B. and Marilyn J. (Rowe) Foote.
Lenny graduated from Andover High School and was recently retired from the Town of Andover where he was employed by the DPW. In his spare time, Lenny enjoyed playing golf, watching the Boston Sports teams, and spending time at the beach. He was passionate about watching his four children compete in all North Andover sports.
Besides his beloved wife, Linda, he is survived by his loving children; Andrew B. Foote of Haverhill, David C. Foote of North Andover, Amanda J. Foote, and her fiancé Jacob E. Ring, both of South Boston and James M. Foote of Haverhill, brother Frederick J Foote and his wife Kim Pfister of Walnut Creek, California, sister; MaryBeth Foote of Fort Collins, Colorado and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Michaels Church, 196 Main Street, North Andover on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 4 to 8 PM.
